13/08/2016

On 5 – 9 July 2016 the METABUILD project organised a training-of-trainers (ToT) course at Hotel Renuka in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The objective of the course was to train local consultants for their future work in the METABUILD project. They gained a common understanding of the METABUILD project, including the resource efficient and cleaner production (RECP) approach and the services that METABUILD can provide to companies. Topics covered in the training included the evaluation and calculation of data for specific RECP interventions as well as monitoring and reporting techniques.

The training was primarily based on case study companies but also comprised company visits on the third and fourth day. It was facilitated by Mr Rajat Batra and Mr Markus Möller of the METABUILD project team. In total, 15 participants attended the training course.
